Your guide to an easy hotel check-out (and how to get a late check-out)
A questionable checkout is a stressful experience when you’re pushed for time or face extra charges. This must be done intentionally by making sure that it is part of the regular planning process. The third rule is, do not pack your bags completely, the night before you embark on your journey, leave out what you will require in the morning. In addition, also check your bill and tally the remaining charges which will help you avoid shocks at the billing stage. In the morning, it is advisable to make sufficient hours – checkouts are typically before 11 am. When you’re done, surrender your key and pay for any other charges incurred by the company. If you require extra time, softly approach the front desk to discuss possible late check-out during the check-in process or the day before your check-out. Some hotels have flexibility, especially in the checkout time if other guests are not checking in.
